Elm Ridge Park - 26.5 acres

Amenities include: outdoor pool, playscape, pavilion, gazebo, 1 softball field, 2 little league fields, volleyball, tennis, basketball, and ice skating on the pond (seasonal).

Many large Parks & Recreation events are held here including: Party in the Park Arts Festival, Cookout Concert Series, Movies in the Park, and much more. The pavilion may be reserved on a first come, first served basis at the Parks & Recreation Office. While there is no fee for rental, certificates of insurance may be required for certain activities.

Elm Ridge Pavilion Reservation Rules

NO ALCOHOL IN ANY TOWN PARK.
No rain date will be given for a reservation.
Maximum number for a party is 100.
Permit must be on-site on the day of rental.
Please keep the park area clean - remove any trash that does not fit in the provided containers.
You may use the town pool as long as you pay the appropriate fees.
There are port-a-johns available in the front and rear of the park.
Sports fields/courts may be used when they are not in use by a Town program.

Maxwell Park - 34 acres

Amenities include: deck hockey, tennis, softball, soccer, picnicking and playground. Future amenities will include a gazebo.

Sunnycrest Park -

Amenities include: 2 soccer fields, 1 baseball field, 3 sand volleyball courts.

Ferry Park- 16.2 Acres

Amenities include: picnic areas, boat launch and dock, handicap accessible fishing peer.

Adjacent to the CT State Ferry, this park offers breathtaking views of the river.

Quarry Park - 84.3 acres - Trail Map

It is located in northeast Rocky Hill on a former trap rock quarry. It is bound by Old Main street to the west, an abandoned railroad property to the east, and residential properties to the south and north. Entrances are located on Old Main Street, across from Parsonage Street, or from the parking lot on Old Main Street on the corner of Matteson Avenue.

The park offers passive and active recreational opportunities to the public such as hiking, bird watching, and views of the Connecticut River, Glastonbury and Hartford.

Bulkley Park- 25 Acres

This is a totally wooded park that offers short hikes in this compact area.

Shipyard Park

This relatively small corner lot on Riverview Road offers a view of the CT River and is perfect for an afternoon picnic.

Community Center Rental

The Rocky Hill Community Center is available for rental for private parties and non-profit organizations. No alcohol is permitted, and a security deposit is required.
