2008 Relay For Life
The American Cancer Society's 8 th Annual Relay For Life of Rocky Hill is back, being held June 6 th and 7 th at Rocky Hill High School, and we need you!
The event begins at 2pm on Friday June 6 th and has a theme this year of “Rock, Roll and Relay”. This is a signature family event in Rocky Hill, so bring the entire family, a tent, and enjoy a night under the stars with food, music, special activities, performances, games, and come have some fun while raising funds in the fight against cancer.
The Relay For Life is a non-competitive, overnight walking event, where teams alternate walking, to keep at least one member on the track at all times. Participants can walk as much or as little as they want, but are encouraged to come out and do their part to fight this disease. The event will highlight a very special survivor reception, a celebratory Survivor lap, special theme laps, and an awe-inspiring luminaria ceremony later in the evening.
